Sidewalk Repair Program

The general purpose of the sidewalk program is to target deficient areas and maintain the safety and quality of sidewalks throughout the City of Urbandale.

One-quarter of the city will be completed once a year. The sidewalks are physically walked and inspected for deficiencies based on the document "Standards for Defective Sidewalks: City of Urbandale". The inspector notes, photographs, and will typically mark the deficient panels.
