False Alarms

A false alarm is an alarm that was signaled when an emergency did not exist. 

Each alarm user is allowed one false alarm per calendar year (January 1st – December 31st).  The Urbandale Police Department will be reviewing alarms monthly and bill according to City Ordinance Chapter 116. 

The first False Alarm: $0
The second False Alarm:  $100.00
The third False Alarm:  $200.00
The fourth and subsequent False Alarms:  $400.00
