Annual PCC Patch Program

Project Description:

Each year, the City of Urbandale patches a number of city streets that are in need of repair.  The work is divided into several projects based on location and scope.  Please see below for more details of each phase, including webmaps of completed patches.  Also below is contact info if you have questions during construction

Residents will be notified when work will be nearing their area.   Please let us know as soon as possible if you have a special situation regarding access.  Thanks for your patience during this work.

Phases 1 and 2 for 2025 were completed by Brothers Concrete. Please let us know if you have any issues or concerns to report.

Phase 1 – Timberline – 2026

Phase 1 is in western Urbandale and includes the area south of Douglas Parkway, east of Wilden Circle, west of 128th Street, and north of Cardinal Lane.

Phase 1 Project Status Update - 03/12/2026

City Council awarded the contract on February 3rd, 2026, to Brothers Concrete. Brother's Concrete is planning to begin saw-cutting pavement for Phase 1 mid-May, weather permitting. Additional information will be posted closer to the anticipated start date. Please contact our office if you have any concerns.

Phase 2 – Colby Woods – 2026

Phase 2 is in eastern Urbandale and includes the area south of Colby Parkway and north of Hickman Road, including Colby Woods Drive / 78th Street and portions of:

  • Rocklyn Drive
  • N Walnut Creek Drive
  • Roseland Drive
  • Maple Drive
  • Pine Circle
  • Briarwood Lane

Phase 3 is in eastern Urbandale and includes cul-de-sacs along Parkview Drive between Alpine Drive and 86th Street, specifically the following streets:

  • Park Court
  • Greenbelt Circle
  • Parkview Circle
  • Alpine Drive
